Where happiness is defined as an emotion and feeling leading us to bliss and pleasure, Joy is much stronger and lower in occurrence than happiness. As the name defines, Joy Retreat can amazingly increase the occurrence of this supreme happiness in your life.      

Even pleasure is temporary and comes majorly from an external source, eating something tasty, watching movies, cuddling, playing, travelling, listening to music, making love etc. Most people mistake temporary pleasures with ultimate happiness. Some relationships are bonded for pleasure and satisfaction rather than true love and compassion. 


When the small pleasures fade or denied, it starts affecting the mind and soul. Heart Burns and relationship scars are created mostly by the expectation of small-time pleasures over Joy. This further affects joy and reduces its occurrence. Though these small pleasures and enjoyed moments can become happy memories as well, the mind refuses to accept them as it is, demanding for more pleasure in place of Joy.  Joy comes in the form of satisfaction. 


Every time your need is addressed you feel satisfied. Every time you make someone happy, that feeling of making someone happy gives you a satisfaction, when you help someone, that feeling of satisfaction gives you joy. The joyful reaction of your every deed gives a satisfaction and the level of joy also rises. 


Joy is different from general happiness as is also brings serenity and solidarity. The joy which is also termed as great happiness is derived from an old French term joie, meaning hope, faith, and patience. 


There is no one in this world who doesn’t want to be happy. But the happiness today is more materialistic and less emotive. There is no harm in having the materialistic attachment but a person has to maintain the level of materialistic attachment. Too much leads to greediness, stealing, cheating and so on, whereas too fewer leads to a life of a deprived a balance of this are ‘Satvik’, a life very few accept to follow. For them, the meaning of happiness changes. 


This retreat program brings out the reasons of low happiness and injects the antidote, i.e., Joy.

17:00 - 19:30          Indoor / Outdoor activity, guest session

GENERAL GUIDELINES

Accommodation: Single Accommodation will be provided in a very neat and clean hotel, resort, ashram, with hot and cold water facility, hygienic and neat premises and rooms, and security. For double bed accommodation, pls inform us at the time of registration (additional fee will be applicable).  

  
During Free Time:During your free time, you may go for any activity happening in the town, or study.

Rules and Regulations: 

  • The routine designed for the participants should be given a respect and to be followed. 
  • 100% participation is required for each participant to successfully complete the program.

Cancellation Policy: A reservation requires a deposit of 30% of the total Fee, The deposit is fully refundable, if the booking is cancelled. But inform 7 days before the program begins, otherwise, no refund will be applicable. The balance fee should be paid 3 days before the arrival date.
